This expert is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medicine, for Emory University School of Medicine. She graduated from Cornell University (BS '97) and received her MD from the SUNY at Buffalo College of Medicine ('03). She completed her residency in family medicine at the Atlanta Medical Center ('06) and her fellowship in geriatric medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine ('07). She is board certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine. She worked in academic geriatric medicine for 8 years including supervision and teaching of geriatric medicine fellows, and extensive work in geriatric outpatient clinic, rehab and nursing homes. She served as a medical director in long term care for 8 years. She now serves as medical director of a direct primary care clinic serving aging patients across the full spectrum of care settings. She also has extensive hospital medicine experience.
